Moms! Eileen Boyer, Kathy Giordano, and Linda Parkinson are three moms that started this business fifteen years ago providing Hot Dog Lunches one day a month to our children, and their classes, at St. Mary’s school in Los Gatos. This Hot Lunch Program became such a success that we decided to grow.

Currently Impromptu is serving over 4000 lunches a week to various schools in the surrounding Bay Area. As all business grow responsibilities do as well. As such we are fully insured, have a business license, are Serve-Safe certified, and work with a payroll service; however, for all the affectations a growing business must take on, our heart and soul remain the same.

Los Gatos Impromptu, Inc. insists on providing the finest quality, kid-approved, healthy food for all of our students, as if they were our very own children. Each day the food is prepared on site at each school or at Impromptu’s kitchen, to ensure freshness and quality. We have all necessary kitchen equipment to make sure students lunches are served the way they like them. Our Impromptu staff, usually comprised of moms, makes sure that all of the students are served healthy, kid-approved, quality meals at a reasonable price in a prompt and “motherly” manner.
